After the pieces had plenty of time to cure or hydrate so the concrete had the chance to harden nicely, here they are: building up layers of dark or white mix making latex stamps and impress them into wet mix texture when hardened, stained with rust samples combined with a looped wire rope, explored different angles for different  perception or meaning and different surface treatments like polishing or sanding down  to the prior layer I'm pleased with the outcome and it turns out that the formula I used offered me a lot of the textural properties as I worked. I got the surface I wanted, just like that, after trying so hard making moulds for impressions etc.  The rather viscous white mix feels like porcelain slip and also looks a bit like porcelain in the hardened stage. I wrote about the versatility of concrete before but now it becomes even more apparent. I can almost mimic a ceramic piece, treating the surface by polishing or sanding.
